Accessibility Statement

We want every reader to be able to use Huius, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page and correctly ordered headings; descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and empty alt text for decorative ones; visible keyboard focus indicators; a skip-to-content link; ARIA labels on icon-only controls; text and interface colors chosen for contrast in both light and dark themes; and layouts that reflow to narrow screens and high zoom levels without horizontal scrolling.

Third-party image hosting is outside our direct control. Some older articles may contain image descriptions that are less detailed than our current standard; we revise these as we review each guide.

If you encounter a barrier, please tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use. We treat accessibility reports as corrections and prioritize them accordingly.
