Editorial Policy
How Huius researches, writes, reviews, sources and corrects its articles, and how we separate fact from opinion.

Independence
Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team alone. Advertisers, if any, have no input into what we cover, when we publish, or what an article concludes. We do not publish sponsored content, paid reviews, or paid links.
Sourcing
We prefer primary sources: federal agencies, standards organizations, official documentation and published research. Every article carries a references section listing the sources a reader can check. Where evidence is mixed or developing, we say so rather than presenting a confident answer that the evidence does not support.
Fact and opinion
Articles are factual by default. Where a writer offers a judgment that goes beyond the evidence, the text labels it as opinion or as the writer's view. Headlines describe what the article contains and are not written to overstate a finding.
Review
Every article is read by an editor before publication for accuracy, clarity and appropriate hedging. Health and finance articles receive additional scrutiny on the question of whether any statement could be read as individualized advice.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly. Substantive corrections are noted at the foot of the article with the date. Minor typographical fixes are made without a note. Report an error through the contact page and include the article link.
Updates
Guides are reviewed periodically. When rules, figures or recommendations change, we update the article and its date rather than publishing a near-duplicate.
AI disclosure
Editorial judgment, sourcing and final text are the responsibility of the named human writer and editor. We do not publish articles generated without human research, editing and verification.
